Matchday: Inside FC Barcelona

In celebration of Matchday: Inside FC Barcelona – an eight-episode documentary series that focuses on the 2018–2019 season – Casio is expanding its iconic G-SHOCK brand of shock-resistant watches to include two new styles -  the GBDH1000BAR-4D & the GBD100BAR-4.

Taking the GBDH1000 and GBD100 as its foundations, the collaboration employs the classic Barcelona home kit colours of blue and garnet, designed to evoke past and present team uniforms. The club name and motto “Més que un club” (“More than a club”) is printed on the lower bands, and a “Matchday” logo is printed on the upper bands. 

Like other G-Squad style, the collaborations watches feature fitness and training functions, solar and USB charging, GPS, optical heart rate monitor, Bluetooth, and a Triple Sensor (pressure: altimeter-barometer, compass, thermometer). Either model can be liked to a smartphone for multiple fitness tracking functionality via a dedicated app.
