Warranty

Shriro Australia, the exclusive distributor of Casio Electronic Musical Instrument (EMI) products in Australia, provides a (5) five-year conditional warranty for Casio EMI products from the date of purchase in Australia. Shriro Australia provides a (1) one-year conditional warranty on accessories including power adaptors, pedals, stands and carry bags purchased in Australia.

In addition, Shriro Australia offers an additional (5) five-years, extending to a (10) ten-year conditional warranty against defects for the Celviano range. Eligible models are listed on the electronic form below. For this extended warranty to be honoured, consumers are required to register their product within 90 days of purchase by completing the form below. Shriro Australia’s free extended warranty time limit is inclusive of any other manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty coverage begins from the time of purchase and is not added on top of manufacturers warranties.

STATEMENT OF STANDARD WARRANTY CONDITIONS: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

What is covered:

For a period of (5) five-years from the date of purchase for Casio EMI, (10) ten-years from the date of purchase for applicable Casio Celviano models that have been registered and for a period of (1) one-year for accessories and upon
providing proof of purchase, the product will be repaired free of charge for both parts and labour, provided a defect in materials and/or workmanship has been verified by the place of purchase or Shriro Australia Customer Service.

What is not covered:

Consumer shall not have any claim under this warranty for repair if:

  1. The problem is caused by accidental damage, fair wear and tear, improper, rough, or careless treatment causing physical damage (for example liquid spills or being dropped).
  2. The problem is caused by fire or other natural calamity.
  3. The problem is caused by improper repair or adjustment made by anyone other than a Casio Authorised Service Centre.
  4. The problem is caused by battery leakage, bending of the unit, broken display or keys.
  5. The problem is caused by the use of incorrect power adaptor.
  6. The proof of
    purchase or warranty registration is not presented when requesting service.
  7. The warranty period has expired.

Shriro Australia recommends that consumers register their warranty by completing the form below. To obtain warranty services, please contact the place of purchase or Shriro Australia Customer Service with a copy of your proof of purchase showing the date of purchase. In the event proof of purchase is lost, your online registration will be referenced.
