G-Shock Celebrates the Lunar New year with the MTGB1000CX-4A

G-Shock is celebrating the impending Lunar New Year with a limited edited MTG honouring the Year of the Tiger. Taking the MTG-B1000 as its base model, the MTG-B1000CX-4A joins G-SHOCK’s “Metal Twisted G-Shock” premium line.

The watch features a gold-coloured bezel and caseback, paired with a striking red strap. The bezel undergoes a “laser peeling” process to create its golden tiger stripe pattern. Casio worked with young Chinese graffiti artist Hou Shanzhao who created not only the engraved pattern on the caseback but a painting of a golden tiger to support the release.

The watch features Bluetooth and Multiband 6 connectivity, Tough Solar power, Triple G Resist (shock, g-force, vibration) and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass.
