See-through material is used for the dial, index marks, and dial ring. The design offers clear views of the distinctive face moulding, down to the forms of individual components.

Tough, redefined.

The application of black printing to the underside of the dial helps prevent the penetration of light from outside, which otherwise could cause malfunctions, and provides accents that give the face an impressive look.

Special design commemorating 40 years of G-SHOCK

The words “SINCE 1983” are printed on the watch face. Gold IP is applied to the metal band loop or clasp, which is adorned with four stars, and the case back is engraved with a 40th anniversary commemorative logo.
