Sharp contrast, adequate viewing angle, disappointing light

I like the sharp contrast between the digits and the background when looking at the watch head-on.

The viewing angle is adequate, but less than I expected. When looking from an angle about 60 degrees from the normal, the digits can no longer be easily read.

I am also disappointed by the light, which consists of two LEDs that unevenly illuminate the screen from two sides. I would have preferred the whole screen light up uniformly like some watches I have owned previously.
