Multifunctional watch with analogue-style LCD
The AE-1200 features a distinctive multi-display design with unique digital elements, including an analog-style LCD inspired by instrument panels and a world map display. Designed for practical performance, it offers approximately 10 years of battery life and 100-meter water resistance.
Retro-futuristic design with a digital twist
The AE-1200 features a digital face inspired by instrument panels. The design elements — an analog-style LCD that displays time with digital hands and a world map display — trace their roots back to watches released in the 1980s. To support its multifunction digital interface, the AE-1200 employs an LCD with 248 segments, made possible by precision module design and advanced manufacturing techniques capable of managing complex circuitry with reliable accuracy.
The evolving legacy of multi-display design
In the mid-1980s, the “Twin Graph” AE-200 introduced the analog-style LCD, while the W-50U featured world time with a world map display. Building on the signature features of these two models, the AE-1200 was born — a digital timepiece defined by its distinctive multifunction display.
Analog-style LCD
View the home time (hours, minutes, and seconds) in an analog-style format on the upper-left display. The current time remains visible even when using other functions like the stopwatch.
World time
Easily switch between four registered cities from a selection of 48 worldwide. The current time zone is also highlighted on the world map in the upper-right display.
Battery life of about 10 years
An approximately 10-year battery life, while still incorporating features like alarms, an LED light, and more. This means fewer battery changes and dependable long-term use.
100-meter water resistance
Suitable for everything from day-to-day routines like washing up or showering, to swimming and skin diving — no concern over water exposure.
