EDIFICE X TOM'S

EDIFICE has announced the release of the latest addition to its line-up, the TOM’S Limited Edition EQB1100TMS.

 

Designed with a top Japanese racing team, this collaboration model evokes that luxury sports car feel, which is the team’s speciality.

TOM’S is a well-known racing team in Japan, competing in the most prestigious races and has a number of SUPER GT and SUPER FORMULA championships under its belt. The team also brings the technologies it cultivates for racing to its aftermarket parts and custom cars.

 

The EQB1100TMS is the third collaboration between TOM’S and Edifice, and it's a high-performance timepiece that features a slim case at just 8.9mm and a design inspired by TOM’S luxury sports cars. The watch's dial is made of the carbon fibre, which is prevalent in motorsports, and features gold across the TOM’S logo, as well as the second hand and indicator hand, to evoke the luxury you expect from a team like TOM’S.

The watch also features a colour gradation around the perimeter of the sapphire crystal and an inset dial at the 6 o’clock position that recreates the magic of exhaust heat turning a titanium tail pipe a bluish colour. Every detail of the watch was created under TOM’S supervision, including the octagonal bezel finished with black ion plating, the grey ion-plated case and band.

 

The EQB1100TMS is also equipped with Mobile Link functions that allow the watch to be paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth. When used with the dedicated EDIFICE Connected app, the watch automatically adjusts the time, and the app also enables the wearer to use their smartphone to easily select any of approximately 300 cities for world time and display the time in two cities.
