The BGD-565, a classic first-generation BABY-G model, now takes on the white, red, and blue colour scheme of the HELLO KITTY debut in 1974.

The band is covered in printed faces of the charming animated character from the 1970s — HELLO KITTY laughing, winking, surprised, and sad. Activate the light to see the watch face come to life as her face emerges, topped off by the iconic ribbon motif on the dial.

The case back is engraved with an original HELLO KITTY design that inverts the motif with watch hands and numbers adorning her face.

This BABY-G features a total of 50 HELLO KITTY details in celebration of her 50th birthday. Red and blue band rings, as well as the die-cut ribbon detail on the white band loop , add extra whimsey to the charming design.

The band is made of bio-based resins derived from renewable organic resources, which are expected to reduce environmental impact.
